Description
The Camino de Santiago (the Way of Saint James) is a large network of ancient pilgrim routes stretching across Europe and coming together at the tomb of St. James (Santiago in Spanish) in Santiago de Compostela in north-west Spain. St James was one of the 12 apostles. The scallop symbol is used to represent St. James and appears on Camino pilgrim path waymarkers. Our candles are based on the concrete waymarker posts placed along the route.
